INTRODUCTION

While our look is whimsical, our content is quite serious. This website is dedicated to two incredible young ladies, one who was murdered, and one who suffered life altering horrors, and to the countless other young people who are in similar circumstances. Please see our dedication page.

The content on this web site is created for you by just one mother, and is based on her experiences with a case brought against her child, the research she did, and a variety of professionals she reached out to for guidance. It is brought to you with love and caring and a genuine desire to help ease your despair as you journey through this chapter in your life.

CRUCIAL FIRST STEPS

• Keep a detailed accounting of EVERYONE you speak with. Note the date, time and person’s name and contact information along with a synopsis of the conversation held. Keep a notebook with this information with you at all times, and be extremely diligent about this.

• Keep all original documents. If that is not possible, keep a copy of each document. Get copies of everything available relating to the case for the jurisdiction that you are in. Go to the county courthouse and get help finding them and getting the copies, or get them online. Include copies of the statutes you or your loved one is accused of violating.

• Hiring an excellent attorney is absolutely critical! Innocence can not ever be a reassurance that you or your loved one will be found innocent in court and that you will not suffer consequences of some kind just for being accused. For information about finding, selecting and hiring an attorney, please click here.

• Remain as courteous, respectful, and in control as possible with everyone you come in contact with. As much as you are hurting, or perhaps feeling an injustice is being done to you, this not the time to make any enemies. The people you will be communicating with are hired to listen, to keep you calm, and to provide you with the things you ask for. However, they are NOT your friends, nor are they advocates for your loved one. Again, an excellent attorney will be crucial.

• Understand Bail Bonds should you need to get one. For a basic overview of bail bonds, click here.

Our objectives

1. Helping those facing charges, particulary first time offenders.
2. Facilitating an end to minimum mandatories for non violent crimes, especially for first time offenders.
3. Elightening legislators that advocating for Truth and justice will serve them far better than inaction based on the fear of being perceived as soft on crime.
4. Fostering respect and honoring  those within the legal system who ARE honest, uphold their plege to protect and serve, and seek the Truth... and there are MANY of them! We thank you!
